Description
Boone Hall Plantation, in Mount Pleasant, SC, just across the river from Charleston, SC, is a Colonial Revival plantation house listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The live oaks, lining the entry, were planted in 1743 by the son of Major John Boone. In addition to being a tourist attraction, the antebellum plantation is still a working farm providing seasonal produce and handmade jellies and jams to local customers.
